About Dr. Farrell:
Dr. Farrell received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY. Subsequent to this, she completed an ASHP- Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ. Following her residency, she was employed by Englewood Hospital and Medical Center as an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist.
Dr. Farrell is currently employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her clinical practice site is The Center for Rheumatology in Albany, NY where she works as a clinical pharmacy specialist. She also serves as the co-director of the Steffens Scleroderma Center. Dr. Farrell presents on numerous rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, scleroderma and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). She is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ACR/ARHP), American Society of Health- System Pharmacists (ASHP), and currently serving as the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists (NYSCHP)-Northeastern Chapter Secretary.
